About the Web Site Creator Julia Campbell holds a Masters in Library & Information Science from the University of Texas School of Information. She has seventeen years experience as an elementary school librarian. Ms. Campbell is currently the librarian at Carroll Elementary School in Southlake, Texas, and is employed part-time with the City of Southlake Public Library. Web Site Selection Sites selected for this site have received positive reviews in professional journals and magazines and/or have been recommended by students, teachers, and parents; support the elementary school curriculum; are age-appropriate; and meet the interest of K-5 students. Some sites are removed or excluded from this collection when advertisements, pop-up windows, or other page elements overshadow or distract from the content or usefulness of the site.
